…jaydiohead, of course. i know mashups can be hit or miss, but this one definitely has some shelf-life. very well done mashup of radiohead and jay-z, free for download, courtesy of minty fresh beats. if you are a fan of either of these artists, i sugesst grabbing it now!
big ideas (don’t get any)
12Jun08amazing rendition of radiohead’s “nude” by james houston. this is james’ final project for a visual communication class at the school of art in glasgow, scotland. this remix uses no traditional instruments, though… he used old computer hardware to create all the sounds in this version: sinclair zx spectrum – guitars (rhythm & lead), epson lx-81 dot matrix printer – drums, hp scanjet 3c – bass guitar, hard drive array – act as a collection of bad speakers – vocals & fx.
nothing short of amazing here. take some time to put on headphones and give this a try. i think you’ll like it!!
