announced at ces2009, this device is about to make our lives a whole lot more convenient. after fitting your mobile device with a special magnetic backing pad, you plug in the base of the powermat and then are able to just set your device on top of it for wireless magnetic charging. it uses a process of magnetic induction to transmit the correct amount of power from the base to your device and is completely safe. set to be released later this year, the device is available in 2-, 3- and 4-port configurations with more to come.

I love the idea of not having to use all the different charges and not having all the wires. I hope it will be available soon
I read a more about it (thanks for the info) and got much more exited from the fact that you can use the one mat to charge several devices at the same time. Just think of all the wires you can get out of the house!
