The Reverse Graffiti Project

ever stop and wish someone would clean up all that soot and grime left on city walls? well, the reverse graffiti project is doing just that — one stencil at a time. green works brings us a very cool and eco-friendly project in san francisco. check it out - and be sure to watch the video on the home page!!

amazing rendition of radiohead’s “nude” by james houston. this is james’ final project for a visual communication class at the school of art in glasgow, scotland. this remix uses no traditional instruments, though… he used old computer hardware to create all the sounds in this version: sinclair zx spectrum - guitars (rhythm & lead), epson lx-81 dot matrix printer - drums, hp scanjet 3c - bass guitar, hard drive array - act as a collection of bad speakers - vocals & fx.

nothing short of amazing here. take some time to put on headphones and give this a try. i think you’ll like it!!

ok… so im guilty of abandonment… what can i say? it’s been a busy year-ish or so. i won’t bore you with details, but i was busy with life, helping my company win new accounts and push amazing work… anyway, i am back with a vengeance and will be updating on a much more regular basis now. i doubt anyone is even reading this right now, but we’ll fix that soon enough!

grass

Done by Goodby, Silverstein & Partners to promote Saturn’s new Green Line hybrid cars - with the help of the Barbarian Group & Obscura Digital, they created a wall of virtual grass that swayed when people walked by the 45 foot screen.

Very cool stuff!

lindbergh

call me biased, but here is kick ass flash site art directed by mark unger and implemented by the agency i work for, push. it’s just a temp site until the final site is done, but it’s highly impressive for a “temp site”. be sure to click around to have some expanding-box-fun.

Jonathan Yuen

in our worldly tour of designers, jonathan yuen’s work really stands out. hailing from singapore, he uses flash like very few others do - it’s worth spending a good amount of time on his site. click the thumbnail to check out the unique navigation and absolutely beautiful design.
